Wawota Parkland School welcomed families and community members back into their building on April 6th with tacos, games and fun with a Kahoot style trivia night. Supper was sponsored and served by the Wawota school SLC along with donations from local businesses. The SLC fed over 200 people, and 126 teams joined in the Kahoot trivia fun.

Please be aware that Environment Canada has predicted a once in a decade storm for parts of Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan starting the night of Tuesday April 12th into Friday April 15 They have indicated we could see anywhere from 30 to 50 centimetres of snow along with winds gusting from 70 to 90 kilometres per hour giving zero visibility at times. Congratulations to the Wawota Senior Girls Curling Team for winning GOLD at Provincials!

A big congratulations to the Wawota senior girls curling team for going undefeated at Regionals in Estevan and winning the “A” side qualifier. They are advancing to provincials in Fox Valley this weekend! Way to go girls!
